MY MOM

This is a short and sweet peom written by a classmate of mine back in elementary school. It's amazing how I even remembered it after all these years. Anyways, I'm sure he won't mind me sharing it.

MY MOM

When nobody seems to love me,

And trouble's everywhere,
When skies turn dark above me,
And joy turns to despair,
When everything just falls apart,
And no one seems to care,
I just look down deep inside my heart,
And know that mom is there.

My mom is one of my favorite people on earth, and that poem I’m sure is very relatable, heyy I noticed its beautiful not only with the rhyming and repetition but just the words are so deep and meaningful….I know this may seem weird but looking at it from an acrostic poem view…you’ll notice that there WaWAWA…which is the symbol for crying and ironically enough, I think its cute to call a poem Mom and then have that since we do go to that wonderful lady when we’re down. Tehe srry faw blabbing on GOOD JOB!!

Ivan,

Does your friend have a name?

This is a sweet little poem. It reads almost like a nursery rhyme. The rhmye scheme: ababcdcd provides a sing-song quality that matches the poem's charming subject matter.

Mr. G

Wow, this poem makes me want to cry, seriously, especially considering it being written by a boy. Usually, guys don't like to express their feelings, especially towards his mom. I can relate to this poem because we all know that deep down, only our parents are real and there for us. Although simple, it is very deep. Can't wait for a poem about your dad! (:
